We are Tokyo Keiki. We have more than 60 years of experience developing and manufacturing state of the art radar systems. And we have always pioneered new developments. Ahead of our time, in the 1970s, we understood the need for high resolution Ku Band radar systems. And in 2012 we brought the world’s first solid state Ku Band system to the VTS market. We provide solutions for the most challenging environments, such as Tokyo Bay. Every day 500 vessels navigate through Tokyo Bay’s 6.5 km wide Uraga channel. Where weather conditions can be challenging: seasonal heavy monsoon rainfall can continue for days on end and many typhoons hit the area every year. Our radar systems are relied on to ensure safety and security in this difficult environment. To enable effective VTS operations in this crowded waterway, our high resolution Ku Band radar can reliably distinguish, identify and track vessels, even when they navigate in close proximity to each other. Tokyo Keiki is proud to be at the forefront of radar technology innovation.
